Raphael Oidtmann

Raphael Oidtmann – parliamentary and legal advisor at the State Parliament of Hesse and holds academic positions as adjunct lecturer in international law at Mannheim Law School, associate researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law, and Global Fellow at the Watson Institute at Brown University.

With master’s degrees in political science, international and comparative law, and international relations, he is currently an external PhD candidate at Goethe University Frankfurt. Furthermore, Raphael served as a rostered expert and listed assistant to counsel with the International Criminal Court (ICC), consulted with the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC), and acted as an honorary judge in criminal matters at the Mainz Regional Court.
