Professor Melanie Klinkner is Professor of International Law, Department of Humanities and Law, Bournemouth University (UK). She is PI for the MaGPIE project and co-author of the Bournemouth Protocol on Mass Grave Protection and Investigation, an AHRC funded project that she led in collaboration with the International Commission on Missing Persons. She is PI on the MaGMap project, and in her current work on MaGPIE she is leading the creation of a world-wide map of mass graves.
