Malcolm Langford is a Professor of Public Law, University of Oslo. A lawyer and social scientist, his publications span international law, comparative constitutionalism, AI and technology, and legal education. He is co-editor of the Cambridge University Press book series Globalization and Human Rights and the Oxford Handbook on Economic and Social Rights and has won several prizes for his work on international adjudication, law and data science, and legal education. He previously led the Digital Lawyer project (2018-2020), Centre of Experiential Legal Learning (a Centre of Excellence) (2019-2024), and the Academic Forum on ISDS in the UNCITRAL Investment Arbitration Reform process (2018-2021), and has advised governments, international organisations and NGOs on human rights and technology policies.
