Eirini Fasia is a Lecturer in Marine Law at Wageningen University and Research (WUR). She has studied law at the University of Oxford (DPhil; MPhil; MJur), the University of Athens (LLM in Public International Law), and the Democritus University of Thrace (LLB), and she is admitted to practice law in Greece. Before joining WUR, she taught Public International Law at the University of Oxford, and she acted as the convenor of the Oxford PIL Discussion Group. During 2022-2023 she served as a Judicial Fellow at the International Court of Justice. Eirini has worked as a researcher on several projects, including the ‘Satellite Monitoring of the High Seas’ project, funded by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.
